Synopsis |
|
Set in Philadelphia, the film
follows Trevor (Pryor), a 27 year
old busboy whose paralyzing fear of
women has forced him to lead a
solitary life. However, his fears
turn into something much different
when he takes in Lanh, a heroin
addict looking for a place to hide
out after stealing from a local drug
dealer. Trevor allows him to stay at
his apartment and agrees to score
drugs for him, but only on the
condition that he allow Trevor to
transform him into the perfect
woman. As Lanh succumbs to Trevor's
demands, his obsession becomes more
and more bizarre, causing the
relationship between the two men to
spiral out of control. Darkly comic
and severely disturbing, SURRENDER
DOROTHY is a gripping and intense
film whose surreal logic and
haunting images are at once
unsettling and fascinating. |
