Synopsis |
| A
retired porn star, who once suffered
a disfiguring accident as a child,
now faces a bleak future, as well.
As a child, Billy Lee Tucker
(Matthew Sandager) had a bizarre hot
tub accident that severed his penis.
The high-profile case eventually
brought Billy some notoriety, and
talent scouts helped him parlay the
experience into a noteworthy career
as a porn star. Though he had
several years of fame and fortune at
the height of his adolescence, now,
at 28, he is getting too old for the
business and he has become addicted
to painkillers. The 20th anniversary
of the horrible accident raises some
old demons that Billy knows he needs
to overcome to move on with his
life. For all its harsh subject
matter, this homespun black comedy,
which garnered several awards at
indie festivals, won over audiences
with its touching realism and
winning characters. |
