Synopsis |
| James (James
Vasquez) is a young
Hispanic-American turning 29, and
his birthday wish is for fame,
fortune and love. That's a tall
order. He's a tour guide for
Universal Studios, hurling wry jokes
over the heads of brain-dead
tourists. His acting career is going
nowhere. He has 27 bucks in the bank
and a beat-up car that cuts out on
hills. And the love part? He's
head-over-heels for a straight
coffee shop hunk (Brian Doyle, of
HBO's "Oz"). He has some stellar
best friends and a PFLAG mom who
cares too much, but they're all
reaching the end of their rope with
James' paralyzed angst. |
